UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UKSBS), a leading UK shared service centre, will complete its relocation from Queensway House in Billingham on Friday, 19 September to Stockton on Tees. This marks the end of an era as the company becomes the final tenant to leave the building ahead of major town centre redevelopment plans.
The move represents a significant milestone in UKSBS' ongoing commitment to maintaining operations in the North East, with employees relocating to Medway House in nearby Stockton-on-Tees. The new workspace will officially open at the end of September, keeping operations firmly rooted in the region.
Liz Creedy, UKSBS’ Chief Operating Officer said, "This move represents an exciting new chapter for our colleagues whilst demonstrating our continued commitment to the North East. Medway House will provide our team with a modern fit-for-purpose workspace that supports and enhances employee development and well-being and continues our operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.”
The teams behind the move include UKSBS employees and local businesses, coordinating the complex relocation process whilst maintaining business continuity.
This relocation ensures UKSBS maintains its talent pool in the North East and an ongoing presence in the region.
