Why apprenticeships matter at UKSBS
Apprenticeships are central to how we build skills and develop future talent. Each year, we assess our business needs to shape the apprenticeship opportunities we offer, ensuring our apprentices gain meaningful, relevant experience and opportunities to add value to our business.
Our current apprentices are building their skills and experience in project management, agile delivery, customer service, cyber security, IT, and learning and development.
Connecting with future talent
We're committed to attracting diverse talent from Swindon, Newport, Stockton-on -Tees and the surrounding areas. Throughout the year, we attend local careers fairs and schools and colleges to connect with future apprentices.
As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we met lots of aspiring apprentices at Appren-T-Fest in Swindon and shared what it's like to start a career with UKSBS.
A team effort
Every apprentice at UKSBS is supported by a line manager and a buddy. These awards celebrate not just individual achievement, but the collaborative effort that helps our apprentices succeed.
