The event was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the services UKSBS provides, including the Matrix Cluster and Neo programme, and to have open conversations with attendees about how Shared Services supports public sector organisations. Visitors to the stand came from a wide range of departments, and many welcomed the chance to learn more about the work being delivered across our teams.
A clear theme of the day was collaboration. Across every conversation, there was a shared commitment to delivering better outcomes for colleagues and customers alike – a reminder of what can be achieved when teams work together towards common goals.
Working alongside ICS colleagues in person was a particular highlight, helping to strengthen an already valued partnership and laying the groundwork for continued joint working.
Civil Service Live Edinburgh demonstrated the real value of face-to-face engagement in building connections, sharing knowledge, and driving forward the mission to deliver excellent services across government.
UKSBS will be at Civil Service Live London on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 July 2026. We look forward to continuing these conversations and meeting more colleagues from across the Civil Service.
