ICS Visit Jan

The visit formed part of ongoing work between the two organisations to strengthen joint service delivery and improve how services are designed and delivered across government.

Liz Creedy, said: “It was a pleasure to host our ICS colleagues and a clear demonstration of the partnership we’ve built so far. The alignment of our end to end service delivery is key. Between us, we can deliver a customer focused, cost effective service for all departments.”

The day also offered ICS colleagues the chance to meet frontline teams and gain a first hand view of service delivery in action across areas including Customer Services, HR and Payroll, Finance, and Procurement. This helped build a shared understanding of the customer journey and the operational challenges and opportunities experienced across teams.

ICS Head of Onboarding Patty Gordon reflected on the potential of the partnership, she said:
“I’m really looking forward to our continued collaboration and partnership. There’s so much exciting work ahead, and I can’t wait to see what we achieve together.”

The visit concluded with a joint reflection session, reaffirming the commitment from both organisations to maintain momentum, continue sharing insight, and progress the areas of opportunity identified on the day.

This event marks another positive step in the growing collaboration between UKSBS and ICS, with further joint activity planned in the months ahead.
