Double Vision: UKSBS shortlisted for two Future Vision Awards

We're delighted to share that UKSBS has been shortlisted for two awards at this year's Future Vision Awards.

We Have Been Shortlisted

We've made the shortlist in the following categories:

  • Payroll Team of the Year, for the Fusion Payroll Team
  • Shared Services Centre of the Year

The Future Vision Awards celebrate the people, teams and shared service centres making a real difference across our sector. Hosted by the Shared Services Forum, the membership body for shared services across the UK. They recognise achievements, ideas and individuals driving shared services forward, covering everything from leadership, innovation and resilience to service excellence, sustainability, community and great teamwork.

"Being shortlisted in two categories is a brilliant achievement and a reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by colleagues across UKSBS every day. We're well on our way to becoming the UK's leading shared services centre, and this recognition is testament to the fantastic work everyone has done to get us there."

Payroll Team of the Year

Our Fusion Payroll Team has been shortlisted in recognition of their outstanding commitment, resilience and teamwork throughout one of the most challenging periods in the service's history.

The submission details the implementation and go-live of our Oracle Fusion upgrade represented a significant transformation, bringing together new systems, processes and ways of working. Through their collective efforts, they successfully delivered the payroll transition with a remarkably high level of accuracy, ensuring that employees were paid correctly and on time throughout the implementation and beyond.

Shared Services Centre of the Year

This category recognises a shared service centre making a real impact within its organisation. Over the last year, UKSBS has implemented significant organisational change in how we provide services and in our culture, bringing together people, processes and technology, including rolling out the first of two new cloud-based systems, Oracle Fusion.

We’re well on our way to becoming the UK’s leading shared services centre as set out in our vision and this award is testament to the fantastic work everyone has done.  We've also successfully completed two complex Machinery of Government programmes since 2023, onboarding over 1,500 people to our services, with a third now underway. This work is helping lead the way for the strategic onboarding of civil and public servants, and navigating the complexity of UK Government user needs, to name but a few examples of the impact we've made.

The winners will be announced at the Future Vision Awards on 11 November 2026 at Emirates Old Trafford, as part of the Future Vision: Resilience Rebooted Annual Conference.
