Bright forecast ahead as the Climate Change Committee visits UKSBS

We were pleased to welcome the Climate Change Committee (CCC) to our Swindon office on Wednesday 14 January.

CCC UKSBS PH 14 Jan

The visit gave the CCC team the opportunity to see how UKSBS operates, meet the colleagues who will be supporting them, and learn more about the services they will transition to in May.

A day of insights and introductions

The visit began with an introduction to both organisations, led by Chief Operating Officer Liz Creedy and Chief Change Officer Victoria McMyn. They shared the UKSBS story, our purpose, and the range of services we provide to our partner organisations.

The CCC team then toured our Service Delivery areas, meeting colleagues across Customer Services, Finance, HR and Payroll, Procurement and Operational Excellence. Each team showcased how they work and how they help our clients deliver on their priorities.

Following an informal lunch with members of our Executive team, the afternoon focused on next steps with our Strategic Client Onboarding and Partnership Management teams, supporting a smooth transition onto UKSBS services and the BOE platform.

“UKSBS has been exceptional to work with. They are consistently responsive, patient, and flexible, making them by far the easiest stakeholder group we’ve engaged with. Their approach removes stress rather than adds to it, and we’re genuinely looking forward to our onboarding and building a long, productive partnership.”

Victoria De La Cru, Head of Finance and Operations
The Climate Change Committee

“It was fantastic to welcome the Climate Change Committee team and show them what UKSBS is all about. These face to face visits are so valuable in building strong relationships before clients come on board. They help us understand their needs and give them confidence in the teams who will be supporting them.”
